GMFS Why Aren't they labeled?

This article talks about the fact that GMFS are not labeled in the United States. In many European countries, it is mandatory to label genetically modified foods, but it is only voluntary in this country. WHY!!!!!!!!!?????????? Well according to the article, mandating the labeling of GMFs can bring down profits in stores because consumers may perceive the labels as a "WARNING" and choose not to buy it. BUT! it's their right! The fact that GMFs are not labeled is ridiculous! Just propostrous!
