This article discusses the genetic screening tests that newborns take as soon as they are born. In Minnesota, there are laws that state that blood samples cannot be used for research. However, many people disagree with that statement. Genetic privacy advocates believe that blood sample should not be taken at all unless parents "opt-in" to let them do that. This article seems to be on the con side of the genatic privacy argument.
